Not so boring weekend

Saturday LLT let me sleep instead of waking me up to go to work with her (I had told her I would keep her company). So I got to sleep in for a bit then listen to Bombshelter Radio from 10-1. While listening I was virtuous and covered the lace boards for my class at KWAR. Then LLT came home and we headed out for the flea. We had some fun and got to see friends which was cool. Then we headed off to the Mexican place for dinner only to find out they were closed for renovations! Instead we went to the Peking Duck where LLT and I had – you guessed it – Duck.

Then it was time to go home and get cleaned up to go to the club for the evening. Much fun was had but BOY that place was crowded.

Sunday was the hell of grocery shopping and then raking leaves. On the other hand we were rewarded by steak and margaritas for dinner accompanied by the first disk of Firefly.

Okay because I REALLY am curious...

and because I want to use my cool new icon.

I know some people reading this have been involved in government procurement in the past (or do it now). I have a question for you.

Hypothetical situation:

You're working on a procurement for a service (say meeting facilitation). Even though there are hundreds of vendors out there on the GSA schedule, you are told that only one vendor (not on the GSA schedule) is acceptable to the PM you are doing the paperwork for. When questioned, the Deputy Director for the Center backs up the PM.

Is this a sole source?
