Not only do I think that is an amazing cake... But my kids now think you're the coolest baker ever, too :-) (I think "wow", "cool", and "that's so *neat*" were what came from their mouths... along with a small giggle from the boy when he realized what it was)

Thankfully, my daughter with the upcoming b-day also said that she didn't think that we should try to do something like that :-)

Glad they liked it. It actually wasn't THAT hard but considering it took me 13 hours I think your daughter is right that you shouldn't try it.

*g* Yeah, sometimes she's got a bit of common sense. Though we *have* come up with some "interesting" cake ideas in the past, we've managed to keep them pretty simple - decorating-wise. And this month she'll all about cupcakes, to make her party-time "easier". Don't know what we'll do at home for a cake, if anything. She's going to have a party on the way back from gymnastics camp with my sister (and family), two aunts and my dad... and then the friends party here. We might just leave it at her picking what/where she wants for dinner and see where it goes at home.

Oooooooo... Ahhhhhhh... Ohhhhhhh... ;-)

Seriously, that is WAY cool. I hope she liked it. (I was about to say that I hope she ate it up, but I'm sure she had lots of help with that.)
